| As a solo pianist, Matt provides classical and jazz entertainment. With training in both genres, he has an extensive repertoire appropriate for any occasion. Matt also plays piano and drum set in two different jazz combos. These combos gig at restaurants, dinner parties, and other occasions. Click here to hear some samples of Matt's playing. |
As an accompanist, Matt collaborates regularly with vocalists and instrumentalists. He has performed for variety shows, benefit concerts, and recitals. He accompanies weekly lessons for many vocalists at Ithaca College and performs with them regularly. |

| Having his first steady church pianist position at the age of fourteen, Matt has been working as a church musician ever since. Having worked for several churches, he is familiar with the services of many Christian denominations and has experience providing a wide variety of music ranging from traditional hymns to contemporary worship. He now works as an organist and choir director for the United Church of Christ. As an organist, he prepares weekly hymns, as well as preludes, offertories, and postludes. As choir director, he selects choral anthems and rehearses the choir for weekly worship performances.

As an enthusiast of music theatre, Matt has performed and directed music for many theatre productions. He works as a pit musician on keyboard and drum set. Matt also has experience in directing the pit orchestra, and directing rehearsals to teach actors and theatre companies their music. His experience includes directing and performing for professional and community theatre, student run theatre groups, and the Vermont Children's Theatre.
