PIANO LESSONS
With experience teaching privately to students of all ages, Adam Podd continues the musicianship-first teaching philosophy of his own mentors. Adam recognizes that not all students who study piano intend to become concert musicians, and they often have specific goals of their own. His teaching style reaches out and adapts to each student's individual talents, personality, and even frustrations. Having performed in a variety of mediums and across many genres has proven very helpful in finding a unique connection that speaks to each student, and keeps them not only interested, but enthusiastic about music and the piano.
MUSIC TECHNOLOGY SUMMER INSTITUTE
Adam has been a lead-instructor at Vermont's "Music Technology Summer Institute" for the past six years. The content of his courses has changed and evolved to reflect the most current technological trends and software, while the mission of the institute remains the same: To provide educators with the tools, and know-how they need to inspire their students to learn about the arts in new and exciting ways.
